I purchased this griddle about four months ago. If you're looking to throw on a couple of burgers or cook a small meal, it's excellent—heats quickly, cooks evenly, and is very efficient. Unfortunately, it has one major flaw: the grease trap is far too small for a griddle of this size. Cooking just two packages of bacon can produce enough grease to overflow the trap. The problem becomes even worse when using water to clean the cooking surface after cooking. The grease trap simply doesn't have enough capacity to handle the grease and cleaning liquid. The location of the trap also makes the problem worse. It's positioned at the front of the cooking surface, making it extremely awkward—and potentially dangerous—to remove while the griddle is hot. Trying to empty a small container filled with hot grease while cooking creates the possibility of burns and spilling grease into the grill cabinet or onto the floor. Had I realized how poorly designed the grease-management system was, I would have returned the griddle immediately. Unfortunately, I had already purchased and installed a custom outdoor cabinet specifically to accommodate it. The griddle itself cooks very well, which makes this especially disappointing. For a premium product at this price point, I expected Napoleon to design a grease-management system capable of handling normal griddle cooking—particularly something as common as bacon. Napoleon can—and should—do better.

Haven't been able to fully use this griddle. Received with 2 defects - one affecting operation (one burner won't light) and one affecting features (knob lights don't work). Have tried every means possible to obtain support in resolving the problems (emails, on line forms, submitted phone number for call back, calls to support (4 hour wait with no answer and disconnected, reached out to vendor where purchased with no help yet, chat stated I should just keep calling). At this price point, you should get more than silence when you have issues.

Works well however has a tough time keeping heat in lower temperatures and wind. Flame sensor struggles to acknowledge flame

The griddle has has issue with the right burner since install. IT would take about 5-8 minute to fire up when the left burner only takes2-5 seconds. I have reported the issue to the store where I bought it. Awaiting an answer.

Great griddle! MY first griddle. Getting used to cooking on it. Love it!
