Pole diameter is 1.5” so standard if you’re sourcing your own base. Once I actually get a base and test it through some real sun/wind (it’s rated for 16 mph), I’ll update with the actual performance. Ok, first off the umbrella is huge which is great. It covers a whole lot of shade. A few screws were missing and the stand it comes with is not very good. I had to hold the umbrella for pictures as it kept tilting and falling to the ground if not held by someone. It was easy to assemble and the material seems to be made of good quality material.
