[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works well. It does take batteries. That's the only downfall. It would be nice if it had a plug but I like that it's portable. It's good for use every now and then, but I wouldn't recommend it for a classroom. I've used it with both colored pencils and regular pencils and it works fine. Good for at home use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect battery operated pencil sharpener that does the job. It’s compact but holds a lot of shavings, that’s easy to see/empty. Easy use as my kids have no issues using it for their colored pencils. Haven’t experience issues with sharpening, except one pencil brand wasn’t as clean. Not sure about battery longevity as we haven’t run out yet :)

Having a battery powered sharpener means a broken tip will not disrupt your creative flow! The compact shape means you can keep it on the desk without a lot of space being taken up. The shavings receptacle lets you keep those tips sharp!
