My daughter loves boxes. One year I got her a cardboard box shaped like a book with Santa on the front we folded up money (small bills) put it in the box because she asked Santa for money. She loves that book box still. I saw these knew she’d fall in love with them. They are good quality, but between fair good. No, I would not recommend them kids under 8yrs, anyone older yes. The more you use these the more it’s going to wear the seam it will start to tear. The hinged side could do with a nicer finish on the interior. It’s a very thin material on the box. With all that in mind if you’re using these to hide candy from your kids on a bookshelf it looks like a book will do well. There is nothing written on the spine so it may not hide like a book from older ppl, but little kids definitely. I love that there’s 3 in varying sizes, it’ll be great for her to put whatever she’s hiding from her sister in.
