Burners need adjusting, inner rings flame, but many of the burners outer rings are delayed and sporadic in ignition! don't get too close ! Well packaged, but Lowes leaves 550 pounds on your driveway, good luck getting it in.

Overall doing well and getting used to a new system. I've put a separate thermometers in the oven to check the temp and the small oven runs a little higher than the set temp and the big oven a little less. The knobs get very very hot when the oven is on. I've heard others have thisproblem and Forno will replace the knobs with less heat conduction. Love the oven racks and the gas burners seem to all burn uniformly.

Great Range, Appearance, Use, and overall function.

Excited is not enough to describe how I felt when I found my Forno stove. I was in the midst of building my home and found what I thought the was the perfect oven at an amazing price. I have no retailer near me, so my purchase was sight unseen,, although I did find a retailer that had a single Forno unit, it was not the same one, so this was the only thing close that I was able to see in person. I have no real complaints, just some things I wish I had considered before purchasing or things they could change. 1. When the oven doors are open, they seem quite a bit lower than traditional ovens. 2. There is NO indicator to notify you of when the oven reaches your desired temp. 3. The oven takes an extremely long time to heat up 4. Having 3 racks in the oven is wonderful, but what you don’t realize is there very little space between, so baking cookies is fine, but nothing too tall will work, unless you remove a rack. ( then store it away somewhere) 5. The grates on the stovetop are heavy, yes cast iron and yes wonderful. My mom’s stove also has cast iron grates, but hers are individual. For example, this stove has 8 burners and 4 grates, my mom’s has 4 burners and 4 grates. (You can take them off individually to clean)… when cleaning the stove top, the larger grates are cumbersome & heavy, not to mention, if you do not have a single bowl sink, they won’t fit. 6. Lastly, for some reason underneath the oven gets hot, I keep an eye on it, but it is a concern about my flooring. All of these are things you may not realize or consider before purchasing this unit. Don’t get me wrong, I do like my unit? Would I purchase again? Probably not (nothing to do with the stove - just realized some other features are more important to me)

I purchased the 48 in Capriasca gas range about three months ago and am very happy with it, with one exception. The steel for the rotisserie stick is too flexible, so it won't turn with a large chicken or turkey. With that said, I imagine I can get a similar hardened steel rod from a local steel supply yard, but with what we paid I would think this would be a higher quality attachment. Other than that, the unit operates great. It took a bit of time to figure out the best methods, but now the food is coming out wonderfully.
