Does not work well on rugs. Loses suction. Wish I hadn’t bought it.

This vacuum is very well made and works well. I put it together easily and am very pleased with its performance and appearance so far. I am also glad that it is relatively small compared to my old (40 years) Electrolux which was a very solid, but heavy and cumbersome machine.
