Received the freezer in excellent condition, let it sit for 24 hours and turned it on. Went from 90° to -1° in about an hour in a hot Texas garage. This is my 2nd Newair chest freezer (first one still running great after 2 years).

I have to say that I am REALLY loving this little freezer! I find the size to be extremely handy as it fits into small spaces, yet holds a good amount of food. We're currently using it for our 'summer treats' stash and I appreciate the fact that it's easy to find all the ice cream and popsicles in one place. The digital temp. control is extremely easy to use and I like that I can glance and see what the inside temp is to ensure everything is as cold as it should be. I am thinking the drain plug will also come in handy when we defrost our freezers once a year as it's usually an issue getting all the liquid and ice out of the bottoms and the drain plug will make it much easier. I also really appreciate the light on the inside of the lid as it makes grabbing stuff out at night easier. This freezer is also lightweight and easy to maneuver and move. It does seem prone to suction when the lid is closed so it takes a bit of muscle to open again immediately but if you wait a couple minutes, the pressure equalizes and it's easy to open again. (This is 'normal' for freezers but this one seems to do it more than our extra large deep freeze.)

This is a reliable and spacious appliance.I love the army green! With its 5 cubic feet capacity, it offers ample storage for frozen goods. If you are looking for extra freezer space I recommend this

I recently purchased this Deep Freezer in Cool Gray, and I couldn't be happier! The temperature control panel allows me to set the perfect temperature, ensuring my items are always frozen just right. The Fast Freeze Mode is a fantastic feature that works extremely well. One of the biggest issues I had with older deep freezers was cleaning it, and while I haven't use it yet, the defrost drain at the front is going to make defrosting and cleaning hassle-free. The stay-open lid and LED light are also a great addition. Overall, this deep freezer is a game-changer for my freezing needs. Highly recommended!

We absolutely love this mini chest freezer! The digital temp control is super handy and as a busy mom I really appreciate the fast freeze mode. I also LOVE the interior light because we keep our freezer in a back room that's fairly dim. We can buy a quarter of a cow's worth of beef and it fits in this freezer great, along with other frozen dinner products. I highly recommend this freezer!
