for a price that is nearly half the total cost of a complete unit i cant justify it. are you guys making this out of some precious metal?

Just got it for a day and found scratches over this part. Was instructed to remove plastic wrap before installation and got scratches during installation and more scratches just wiping. What a non-sense material to use.
