(Video game controller included in pictures for size reference) I got this as a Father's Day gift for my step-dad who loves craft cocktails. He loves it. Personally I think this device is takes up too much space and time for the 2 ice cubes it produces. It's not practical for someone with limited freezer space or someone looking to use this for hosting purposes.

This is a nice ice maker. I love cocktails and I have a ton of different ice makers, but none that make clear ice. I've made ice three times now and I still can't get the ice to come out perfectly square and clear -- an edge is always a little fuzzy or cracked, or there are some streaks running through. But overall I would say the ice is 90% clear and it looks even better when it's in the glass. The maker itself is fairly large, but I think it has to be to make the clear ice, and it's a little tricky to get the ice part out. But overall this is as close as I've come to making clear, cocktail bar-style ice at home.

I compared the ice that I made with this to the regular ice that I already had in my freezer. The difference is undeniable! I wish I could make more than two clear ice cubes at a time, but a larger one probably wouldn’t fit in my freezer anyways, and I like how compact it is. It takes some elbow grease to remove the trays, whether there’s ice in it or not. It would be easier if there was a top handle that I could pull up, rather than trying to wiggle the trays out by the sides. The first batch left a small corner of both cubes unfrozen. With my next batch, I froze it for longer than 24 hours and that did the trick.

Very nice ice cube maker. Thick materials on 3rd batch. Still not getting completely clear ice but.. these cubes work great in drinks as they melt very slow. Ifyour looking for some good cubes for those drinks they work awesome!

The clear ice cube maker is something we have been looking for awhile. After seeing great reviews on this one, we had to grab it. No set up needed. Take it out of the package and start filling it with water. It takes up to 24 hours to make to big cubes, but the do come out solid and crystal clear.
