Machine à glaçons marine 23 lb Whynter MIM-14231SS

The icemaker pumps out large,hard cubes and plenty of them. It was easy to install and is a pretty quite fridge, for sleeping in the cabin of our boat.

Has gotten a little bit rusty, but it drains well and makes ice quickly. We use it in our outdoor kitchen.

I bought in January, installed in April. Cheaper in January. Love it better than the uline that came with the boat. Makes ice quickly. Very satisfied and fit was perfect. Used the uline faceplate. Buffed off the white paint. Was stainless underneath and 2 little notches cut out allowed the uline faceplate to work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whynter replaced my old model under warranty with this one and it's much better. Nice compact design. My only issue is it sometimes freezes up and doesn't produce ice. Usually if I turn it off, defrost it and. turn it on again it works. The door definitely needs to be closed hard. It's easy to leave it ajar, probably why it freezes up.
