EDIT. I loved it while it worked. After about a week it’s stopped working and giving error codes. We’ve only used bottled water. Cleaned and run all fixes and still no go. While we haven’t had a chance to set the icemaker up and plug it in yet, I anticipate it working perfectly. It was packaged great arrived safely with no issues no damage. We are opting to use the large water bottle instead of plumbing it to the water fountain

This little ice maker works wonders. It says it’s for under the counter but because I didn’t want to add a water line I chose to add a 3 gallon water jug at the top. So it sits on my countertop and quickly provides ice for the home. It can also handle the load of ice when we have family get togethers as well. We are heavy ice esters so we have yet to run into a problem with ice melting before we can use it. Took off one star because the initial cleaning was very difficult.

Arrived packaged well and almost fully assembled. Base instructions are solid, operation instructions are vague and useless. Requires a 5 gallon water jug to work, and does have a drainage line. Can be installed if you have set up in your kitchen for it, or will need to be addressed. Now onto function. Turns on, cools quickly. No ice. We're positive we've set it up properly. We've tried to use this no less than 5 times and ranit 4 times each attempt and it says ice full at the end of each run. Zero ice. This was an absolute fail. Between poor operation instructions, the need to deal with a drainage line when most in this size range don't require this all combined with the obvious fact that it doesn't function properly, I can not in good faith recommend this to anyone.

It is not really tall, and it is thin so it can be placed on the kitchen on a counter or a small table. It does a great job of making ice, and looks cool. It makes a lot of ice, ideal for parties since it can store a large amount. For me It was a little hard to know how to operate, but I loved that you have many options to supply the water!

First of all, this does NOT have a refrigerator. I thought that it did. The ice you make each day will melt and need to have a place for this to drain into overnight and then it will start making ice again at your restart time. There is water h tubes and a drain hose if you decide to hook it up to your water lines. It has an attachment to hook it directly to your sink but the water has to be running in the sink the entire time it is on. You can also just put a 5 gallon of bottle water on the top. Which would be ideal if you are only using it for gatherings. It takes a few hours to fill fully. I guess it’s ok if that’s what you’re looking for. For my small family this is way too big to fill and let melt every night.
