Beautiful hood but really a pain trying to get the protective blue film off. Be aware that the electrical cord to plug this in is very short, and unless you have an electrician do some special wiring and you have an outlet placed up in the chimney area, I think it will be visible. We had to cut a small notch in the hood to bring the cord around to our outlet. Also the connecting bracket at the top of the ceilingwall is VERY hard to get hooked and a small gap will show. We solved that with a bead of caulk. Take as much of the film off as you can before installing the hood to the wall.
