I did a ton of research before pulling the trigger on this heat pump dryer and have been very happy. Its a beautiful looking device and is extremely quiet and efficient. I'm trying to go net zero at my home so this replaced a gas dryer and I have no regrets. I have been super diligent about cleaning the lint filter as that can be the killer for these units. It definitely takes a little more maintenance than a standard dryer. Dry times have averaged about 1 hour 10 minutes. The machine will commonly say longer times when you first put clothes in but typically it will finish ahead of schedule. From my research this is the best heat pump dryer on the market and should be much more reliable than the combo units. It sucks this cant run off of 120v as the power useage is well within the capabilities of 120v. In the future I would love to see faster dry times and easier maintenance for the lint filter so the appeal can reach a wider audience. For today though its a great machine.. Kmore. Anaheim Hills.
