First off, the chair came unassembled which was stated when purchased that no adult assembly required. Then there was what we thought was only one crack on the arm of the chair, which turned out to be all of the corners of that particular piece. I contacted customer service prior to realizing that all the corners of that particular piece were cracked, reporting and sending in a picture of just the one. The customer service agent was very kind and helpful. Offered me a discount if I wanted to keep the chair and repair it myself. At the time I agreed to that not knowing of the further damage. There is a piece that is put inside the wood on the arms and other pieces during the factory construction of the chair. It makes the screws connect. This is where the damage occurred. The piece was pushed too far into the wood, which caused the corners to split. This is a very cute chair and a good size. I am not sorry that I ordered it. I am sorry that I contacted customer service prior to realizing the further damage. I think I would have asked for a replacement or at least for that piece to be replaced. Make sure to check all of the pieces before assembly should your chair come unassembled as well.
