Solid sturdy frame. Wood did split when adding ladder which is why I did not give 5 stars. A little disappointing for the price. Beautiful little bunk though. The drawers are solid and sturdy and kid require an adult to pull open proof. The trundle is heavy though and does

Wayfair sent us the wrong bed at the first delivery. We assembled halfway and then disassembled to return. We received the right bed at the second delivery. Overall the bed was assembled and kids are happy getting their first bunk bed. A few issues: 1. There's a strong smell (from paint? Or chemical?) from the bed. We aired it out for a week and the smell is still there. We are concerned about the kids' health. 2. Only 2 sets of slat arrived for 3 beds (trundle). And the slats feel flimsy so we ordered 2 additional sets of slat total. 3. There are a few dints and nicks around the bed. See pictures attached.

Big Crack. UPDATE: Have had it less then a year and continued to fall apart. Buyer beware.

Directions suck drilled extra hole in boards because directions were not specific on which side for what board. Looks good otherwise other than the extra holes in it.
