We absolutely love our Rio Cubby! It’s one of those pieces that everyone comments on the moment they walk into our home. It’s beautiful, timeless, and incredibly well made, but what I love most is how functional it is for our family. I love styling the open shelves while still having everything the girls need within easy reach. As both a mom and a children’s interior designer, I’m always looking for furniture that’s beautiful, practical, and built to last. The Rio Cubby checks every box. It’s incredibly versatile and would work just as well in a playroom or bedroom as it would in an entryway for backpacks, lunchboxes, and shoes, or even in a laundry room for extra storage. This Rio bookcase is absolutely stunning! It matches our Rio chest of drawers perfectly. The gorgeous detail on the legs instantly elevates the room (and it's easy to clean underneath). It has a timeless, upscale look, especially in hazelnut, and the price point is fantastic. The 6 cubes hold so many books and toys while keeping the room feeling tidy. Plus, it’s a piece that can easily be repurposed in a mudroom, playroom, or older bedroom as they grow.

(We scuffed it moving it up the stairs but it ended up being able to rub off with some elbow grease) It’s sturdy which I LOVE because I put this in my son’s room. I can’t see him breaking this easily at all. I love how unique the color is. I love how simple it was to put together. My son immediately filled it up before I got to organize it as you can see but I added black cube organizers to it which match perfectly. All around really happy with this! I also love that if my son doesn’t have a need for it I can move it around my house because it’s super adorable for multiple rooms.

I was lazy and had my husband build it, he did have to take it apart a few times, but he wasn't reading the labels correctly. Otherwise, it would have been a simple build. I haven't decided where we are going to use it in our house, it has so many possibilities! The color is neutral and great! I may have to get another!
