I purchased two of these - beautiful finish and heavy duty feel. I appreciate that the manufacturer noted that the finish is non toxic and the wood has textured grain to it but kind of feels like a HPL - I appreciate the durable feeling because it doesn’t seem like it would scratch easily!

Beautiful, just as pictured. There was a minor manufacturing flaw that was purely aesthetic, but Birch Lane quickly offered to replace it or issue a partial refund, which was great. Sturdy construction, assembly wasn't too difficult.
