this desk is beautiful. we purchased this double desk for our girls to help display our lego sets. We did have to purchase separately lights to stick underneath so the girls could have better lighting. You could also probably purchase a lamp. we also had to buy booster seat cushions for the chairs because the chairs are kind of short for them. Their ages are four and six.

A wonderful space for our 2 boys 7 and 9 to work on homework and art projects with room to exhibit Lego’s, rocks and other treasures. Great that the chairs came with the desk.

The back of the upper shelves is cheap MDF, arrived damaged. Also, the upper shelving arrived with no instructions and took twice as long to assemble.

The chair came with no instructions, and it arrived with two missing parts.

The desk is nice and just as described. Fair price for the quality. Would buy it again. However the new furniture has a very strong chemical smell that still remains after 2 days of airing it out. It worries me a bit since this is for kids
