I guess it's true that you get what you pay for - this bed frame is made from the worst, cheapest quality wood I've ever seen. Most pieces are not straight, a lot of them (including all slats) do not have pre-drilled holes, and my husband and I had to push the two sides together to drill the slats into the bottom of the frame. It feels unsturdy and almost unsafe, but thankfully my child is young and pretty small (under 40lbs), so I think it will work for a while. You cannot put any weight whatsoever on the side rails without hearing it bend and start to crack. So disappointed and DO NOT recommend!!
