The bed is cute and fun. My son loves to be in his "house." The bed creaks a little, but feels solid. The instructions were rough, though! Small pictures, sometimes labeling the screws in the wrong way, and difficult to tell which way the standing bars went. We had to redo several pieces because I had screwed them in the wrong direction. This was very frustrating and I usually really enjoy this kind of thing. I have built many pieces of furniture over the years and these instruction could be so much clearer. The screws did fit in well though and the holes lined up well, which is not always the case.
