I am extremely disappointed with this platform bed. What should have been a straightforward furniture assembly turned into a days-long nightmare. First, the assembly process is unbelievably difficult. The instructions are convoluted, confusing, and poorly organized. Parts are referenced in ways that make it hard to follow the sequence, and I found myself constantly backtracking to figure out what the directions were actually trying to say. The manufacturing quality is also questionable. Multiple screws would not fit into the pre-drilled holes because they were clogged with excess glue and paint. We literally had to chisel glue and paint out of several holes just to get the hardware to fit. That is not something customers should have to do when assembling a brand-new piece of furniture. The packaging and part organization made things even worse. The bed arrives in three large boxes, and you need a massive amount of floor space just to open everything and sort the materials. To make matters more frustrating, a critical component—Part C—was buried at the very bottom of Box 2. After spending a significant amount of time searching through the boxes, I discovered it was literally one of the last pieces packed. Between the poor instructions, ill-fitting hardware, sloppy manufacturing, and overwhelming amount of space required for assembly, this project dragged on for days and days. What should have taken a few hours became an exhausting, frustrating experience. The finished bed may look nice, but the assembly process was such a giant pain that I would NOT purchase this product again and would NOT recommend it to anyone unless they have an enormous workspace, a lot of patience, and are prepared to fix manufacturing defects themselves.

The bed itself looks good once it’s built. However, the bed came in 3 packages (two of them were 100+ pounds) and 200+ pieces of wood. It took 8+ hours to put together. There are also no screw covers and the stickers on the pieces of wood don’t come off even. Keep all this in mind before ordering!
