My grandson just loves his new space the loft bed has given him

The wood is low quality and the pre-drilled pilot holes are not always lined up or big enough. After cracking and splitting 2 drawer pieces, I re-drilled all pilot holes slightly larger to prevent any additional issues. The the mattress support slats were not cut square or equal length and had to be forced in some cases. The entire frame wobbles significantly under the weight of a small 6yo climbing up the ladder, even with the desk fully secured to the frame and filled. I'd suggest securing the entire frame to a wall for additional support.

Not as sturdy as I hoped it would.

Horrible assembly. The screws all come packaged together they throw tiny paper numbers inside bags but there’s like 3 different size screws in the bag so you don’t know which is for which number.
