Really nice loft bed! Bought for my 12 year old son - something he really wanted to open up his small bedroom so he’d have more lounge space. My son is on the smaller side, and we know we’ll likely have to replace this new bed with something larger in a couple of years. In any event, this bed is turning out to be a big success! The bed is quite sturdy, though we will likely bolt it to the wall in some way, as it does move a little bit. We chose the gray, and it’s a nice dark gray - not little-kid-ish at all. We’re really happy with the bed - especially for the price! We already had a twin mattress, however it’s a thick mattress, so there isn’t much space between the top of the mattress and the railing - something for others to be aware of. You might want to buy the mattress suggested by Wayfair for safety. Also - wayfair’s delivery is impressively fast! And as for assembly, my husband put the bed together in 2-3 hours with very little grumbling. I’m very glad we made this purchase. And based on the good experience, I ordered a dresser and bedside table to complete my son’s bedroom upgrade. Recommend!
