I have plenty of experience assembling furniture from wayfair, and have dealt with the typical issues of poorly fitting pieces, challenging or incorrect instructions, and low quality materials. But for kid and teen furniture, we've always been able to accept those trade-offs to get decent looking furniture for the price.
All that said, this is by far the worst purchase I've ever made from Wayfair and I have to discourage you from buying this bed. I built this bed over the weekend. There were multiple problems with the furniture. The paint finish was missing or damaged in several places. In other places, it was clearly touched up at the factory with the wrong color paint. There were several missing holes that I had to drill myself to get the furniture together. And these were significant structural parts of the bed. Some pieces were warped and had to be forced to connect with adjoining pieces. Holes for the hardware were drilled to inconsistent depths, and a few pieces were split due to mis-drilled holes at the factory.
As I stated above, I am not a perfectionist and have learned to live with some of these imperfections on previous wayfair purchases. But given the significant amount of quality problems on this bed, I would NOT purchase this bed again and would recommend against you buying it.
