This bed is really pretty and my granddaughter loves it. It keeps all of her knick knacks and stuffed animals in good order. However, we definitely bought wood and secured the top section in two extra spots as I felt it was not secured to the wall as good as it could have been. California has earthquakes and the top section with all of the cabinets is HEAVY. Also The lower cabinet doors are a pain. We do not use them on the bottom cabinet. We put in pull out organizers instead.

The size is perfect for a small space with ample storage. It does arrive in several very large and heavy boxes (may need some help). We received a set of instructions in each box but the instructions were different per packet (seems like they were switching some of the lettering on the pieces and one set wasn't "updated" - still able to put it together, but thought I should comment on that). Also, you will need to open all boxes in order to build. Was not hard to assemble, just takes a decent amount of time given all of the storage compartments. Also wanted to note that some of the hardware/tools are combined in the little packets you receive. My son absolutely loves his new bed. This was a great purchase!
