If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a triple bunked as pictured on there. I received this loft bed instead. My grand babies were disappointed since it was their birthday gift they chose. They reached out to me and told me it was a glitch that’ll shouldn’t have been there. It wasn’t my fault that’s what they were advertising.

Assembled this one--it's made from pine. It's incredibly sturdy, looks just like the picture. Assembly took about 1/2 a day for one person working alone. The instructions leave a tiny bit to be desired. Some of the pieces --it's essential you understand whether they face in (towards the desk) or out towards the edges of the bed (or the walls of your room). It's also important you understand if the piece is upside down. These are pieces with multiple holes on them--those holes will be used to affix other pieces. The problem is you won't , if you wear glasses, be able to concretely determine this from the small diagrams in the printed instructions. It's a tad--stressing just a tad--bit clearer from the PDFS (as you can blow them up). That all said, there were times when I had to disassemble something and flip something over then move forward,mostly with joining slats . Do assemble loosely as you build as you'll be fitting parts in (normal part of assembly). Tighten at the end. This can be assembled by one person but I'd say when you get to the part with the white board that's where a second set of hands is best -I had a strap wood clamp (but a belt, piece of clothes line will work) to keep the top and bottom of the white board together to fit. Very happy with the product. It came in two shipments. I inventoried everything first--all pieces and assembly items are there. You'll need a Philips Screw driver at some point. The desk top, along the edge, has some small imperfections but it's not worth chasing the perfect piece of particle board. Paint quality was good enough. Some of the holes needed to be cleaned out (not redrilled--used a thin screw driver, 30 seconds scrape scrape--good to go) to insure the cylindrical locking nuts recessed in the holes. properly. Very happy with this. It does not creak as some other review noted--make it tight enough across the many connectors with your hex wrench--this is inherent in assembly and after use for a bit.

It’s nice. The bed is about a foot lower than the other two loft beds we bought. That works for now as our child is short but as he gains height, we will have to switch.

It’s a pretty lame bed. The bolts are ugly. I knew they were there but I didn’t realize there were so many showing. The bed is insanely creaky, they did a horrible job painting it, there are warning stickers all over and they’re so ugly. My daughter doesn’t really feel safe in this bed and I can see why. It scares me when she goes up the ladder. Its just all around not a great bed at all

putting it together and because of a piece i can’t surprise my daughter and have it dine before we get back from out vacation
