At first I loved the beds, I had them up for about a month or less and the wood is already cracking.

Beautiful bunk bed. One of the boards was damaged and the manufacturer provided a swift remedy.

Not bad to put together with 2 people. One board did split but other than that, has held up good!

My kids have had it for 2years and the wood is super sturdy mind you they’re boys so they’re moving a lot on them and it’s a

overall, this is a great bed for the price. It looks beautiful once built, and most the assembly is simple... after the first few steps, anyway. The headboards for the lower bed are pretty much a joke for building. It is like held together by wobbly, loose wood pegs and doesn't line up well. The instructions leave out most of the important info, the pieces have weird holes that are shown in the instructions or referred to, and there is no guidance for the legs, which have a really strange pattern you have to go by. I had to redo a number of things a number of times because so many things were not in the instructions. And the instructions say there are something like "7 steps" but it is more like 107 steps. They just have so many things that you have to do in each step without telling you what order is best to do them in. It is not good. However, I only wanted to burn the bed in a rage for the first half of the process. The second half was pretty easy. Though it is silly that they don't have the location for the slats marked. They tell you how many per bed and then it says to do the math. But there are also screws to work around, so the whole thing takes longer. Lastly, the packing was terrible. It was basically just a bunch of boards floating around in two boxes. Several of the boards were cracked and damaged, so I have to wait a few more weeks to get the broken pieces. Luckily it was just the trundle, but if had been the main components, I would have had some very sad kids to wait for the bed another few weeks. It took a long time to arrive in the first place. Wayfair handled the whole thing well, though, and it was easy to order the replacement parts. Overall, I wish I had gone with a bed that was Wayfair verified, but there are very few options for that in the full size bunk bed world. If you expect helpful instructions, don't buy this bed. But the price is nice and the bed is pretty and strudy if you don't mind labyrinthian engineering instructions.
