There were a few places during assembly that the instructions were inaccurate or incomplete. But overall the assembly was a decent/doable experience. I built it mostly on my own (I'm moderately handy) and got it done in 4-ish hours with my husband helping to stack the beds. What was mostly disappointing is that the bed is not very sturdy at all. It sways quite a bit when anyone is in the top bunk. My kids are both under 50 lbs and it sways when they're on the top even on their own. When I'm up there with my kid tucking her in (so maybe 180 lbs total on the top bunk) it sways so much that I try not to move much when I'm up there for fear that the bed might break. The wood is quite flimsy and soft. Some screws are already pulling out of the top rails of he bed. I feel like this bed needs some custom cross-bracing for it to remain safe to use as my kids get bigger just because it sways so much. There's also a lot of screw holes showing in the finished product which I plan to buy some adhesive screw hole covers to help the bed look more finished. Overall it's a good looking bunk bed with a cute design, but the flimsiness/swaying is very disappointing. I would have paid more for a bed that felt safer/sturdier. But it's a little too late now that we've got it all built.

Great! I assembled the bed by myself. It took a few hours to but it wasn’t hard. There are a lot of pieces but if you follow the instructions, you won’t have any issues.
