Like the bed also my kids easy to get on the top bunk bed.

I have a 2 year old and a 5 year old (5 year old has down syndrome). The kids share a room so we needed bunkbeds. The bottom bed sits on slats at floor level and the top bunk is approximately 4.5ft high. It is great! I can reach my 2 year old and get in bed with him if needed. My 5 yr old loves the bottom bed and likes climbing up the ladder. The bed is sturdy. Only issue is assembly. The instructions are only pictures and in some pictures it is hard to tell which way some pieces are suppose to be turned. We had to disassemble a few parts and reassemble when we were putting it together. Overall we love it!
