The instructions weren’t great, there were some pictures that were difficult to figure out the direction of a part, but overall it wasn’t too difficult to get together. Or first graders helped put her desk together, and she loves it. Feels as sturdy as I would expect, it isn’t hard wood or anything, but it’s cute and feels like it should last for all our girls, so we’re happy with it.
