Directions were difficult and not nearly as detailed as they needed to be. But end result was good. Took 1 person around 4 hours. It’s much taller than expected

This is really great quality. I went with the professional assembly and it was absolutely worth it because he took a while to get it assembled but great quality. My daughter loves it.

This desk is such good quality, sturdy wood, simple and easy to assemble. This will last my kid a life time and has so many storage options with the hutch.

The final product is sturdy and very attractive. The packaging leaves something to be desired. Several scuff marks on many pieces. I was able to correct with furniture marking pen. The instructions are hands down the absolute WORST assembly instructions I have EVER dealt with. I am 56 years old, in construction, and have two young kids. I've assembled hundreds of DIY furniture pieces over the years, and have never come across a worst set of assembly instructions. I am the one people call to assemble these types of items. The instructions for this particular piece almost seem intentionally designed to have to make you undo parts and redo them. There are no orientation markings or instructions for several pieces so you have to guess when putting them together, only to find out 3, 4 steps later that you guessed wrong. Completely HORRENDOUS assembly instructions. Several pieces were included that were not even shown on the instructions.

We have made three attempts to get this order but it’s been an issue of Product damaged in shipping or by the manufacturer. It’s been really a waste of my time trying to deal with this desk. Too bad because it would have been the perfect desk (look wise and measurement if it wasn’t damaged. I could post all the photos but Wayfair only allows one photo to be posted and one just doesnt show the issues. Crazy part is the delivery service put the face of the packages that were not damaged on the side where they took picture and the damage side was faced in — so dirty! Clearly I will be returning it for the third and final time and will not be requesting a replacement.
