Don't laugh but we bought these in numbers for our clinic. We offer luxury boarding and use these in our suites. We put them together without the side guards and they are perfect! Our clients think they are adorable! The dogs can't chew them up! They have been used by every breed from Great Dane to Chihuahua and they love them. We even had a Lab who like to jump up and down on it. He deformed the mattress but the bed frame survived unscathed!! I am sure it would survive a toddler and for those who think outside the box it makes the cutest pet bed!!
