I'm 5'1" with very short legs. After 25 years of sitting at uncomfortable desks/chair setups, I did an ergonomics test and I'm supposed to be sitting in a chair about 15-16" from the floor with a 22" desk! Who knew?! This is the ONLY chair I could find that would function as a regular office chair but be low enough. It's great quality, but even for kids... the weird piece in the back bottom of the seat sticks up in a way preventing you from comfortable sitting back in the chair. For me, this chair was a bit of a splurge, so I going to keep it, just wish that hump wasn't there!

Good chair, seems sturdy. No instructions came with the chair but luckily it was easy to figure out how to put it together.
