This loft bed was exactly what we were looking for. My husband put it together in 3 hours; pretty simple instructions. One thing I wanted to note!: This bed can be built with the stairs on EITHER SIDE. We were so confused looking at the photos trying to figure out which side the stairs were on, but it comes with two sets of instructions, one for each side, so that worked out perfectly. We added some support to the wall because it does shake a bit if you're up on the bed. You do need to get a 6 inch mattress or else the safety bars won't reach above the mattress. For the price, we love it, and my son says it's the best bed ever. We bought it for a game room remodel for his pre-teen room.

Bought this for our 13 year old. It’s a great size! I like the desk and all of the compartments. It’s a complicated build — but that’s to be expected. I completed it mostly on my own. It was helpful to do an hour a day for a few days until it was done. Really pay attention to the instructions before starting a section. I’m a little concerned that it’s a bit wobbly when the kid is in it. Fingers crossed that it’s okay!
