I ordered 2 sets of these bunk beds. I read all of the information and specifications for the sets. It clearly states that the “frame” of the bed is solid pine wood. However, it fails to mention anywhere in the descriptions that the stairs, shelves, and drawers are all made of cheaply manufactured wood (aka particle board). This bit of missing information is disappointing. The stairs will be traversed more often than any other part of the set, so having a quality material is important to the consumer but obviously not to the manufacturer. Unfortunately the edges were already starting to chip during assembly. Also, the paint quality is TERRIBLE. I can see the wood and the particle board under the thin coat of paint everywhere. The paint is of such bad quality that each time I tried to pull the instruction label stickers off of the individual pieces the paint would chip off as well. So I gave up, and now the beds will be covered with assembly stickers until the time comes when I can repaint them. The drawers underneath the bed are not attached to any type of railing system so they move all over the place. And since there is nothing on the sides of the lower bed to block the view of the drawers, you can fully see the side of the drawers and their contents even when they are tucked under the bed. I will be removing them and hopefully be able to find a different purpose for them elsewhere. Over all the beds are stable after all of the assembly is completed. That is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. AsanyoneknowswheverassembleAdam

This is probably the flimsiest bunk bed out there. I know you get what you pay for but I constantly have to tighten the locking bolts, the rail on the top bunk bends at the slightest pressure, the rails supporting the mattresses are poor quality. All in all, I worry for my kids safety on this thing and have them sleeping together on the bottom.

These are AMAZING for the kids. Very sturdy

Some parts did not have pre drilled holes. The paint quality was poor, will have to repaint beds.

Nice, but I wish the stairs could go on either side. I will be moving soon and I am considered we will have to put the shelves against the wall.
