The material of this pad keeps it in place, and it stays put on the dresser and doesn’t slide like a traditional changing pad. Maybe the best part is how easy it is to clean. You just wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and you are ready for the next change. The safety belt adds great peace of mind, it also adjusts up and down the changing pad so you can use it as needed. The neutral beige color looks great in the room. It’s sturdy and designed to be easy to clean and sanitize. It’s not a must have for everyone, but with certain babies who have messy cleanups, it can make a big difference. My child sometimes pees when changing her diaper and the slope of the pad will keep the pee from getting on her. I also like that it is not a cloth material so it is easy to wipe off. It is also big enough that my child is able to fit on the pad with no discomfort.
