Bahut Providence

This hutch is fantastic. I'll get into that in a moment. The biggest issue is that the measurements listed are wrong (as pointed out by another review). This is a pretty big issue for me as I was trying to fit this on top of a piece of furniture we already had. The width at its base is 51 inches. A far cry from the 42 inches listed in the product specifications. Which is a shame. Otherwise this item is wonderful. For those looking for actual wood, this is very solid. Instructions were lacking in some ways but easy enough to figure out if you take your time and think about how things fit together. Build time was 1hr and 13 minutes for me (at 9 months pregnant) and my husband to build after unpacking. This timing includes chasing out kids out of the room several times, fetching tools (nothing outside of what is in a standard toolkit would have), applying some wallpaper on the back panel, and then placing it on our sideboard only to realize it was about 6 inches too wide. THEN I stopped the timer while we figured out what to do. I don't anticipate many issues with this hutch and while annoyed it didn't fit with the piece we intended to attach it to, we found a solution to our storage woes for the time being.

Although I love it, BEWARE the measurement in the description is wrong the width and height numbers are switched. The height is actually the width, making it much longer than expected

The measured width was of by a couple of inches. Overall the hutch is beautiful and will work perfectly after a minor retrofit.
