aesthetically pleasing, the mat it comes with fit perfectly inside, folds very nicely for storage and is thicker than some out there. that being said, when I put some of the poles inside the plastic connectors (I did so gently without applying much pressure because I was just setting it up to see if there were any issues before taking it apart again and storing it until I will actually need it) it started showing signs of stress (white marks on the plastic ) like it would crack if I put much more pressure, which makes me wonder if it will actually hold up to toddlers leaning on it, banging, putting weight on it, etc. time will tell, we shall see. otherwise I would have given it a 5 stars.
