My kid loves it! The bed feels solid and sturdy. It took 2 dudes from Angie 3 hours to put it together, so it’s really worth it to spend the extra 150 and get it done unless you like to spend half the day putting it together. It’s solid wood, with metal support throughout the middle. We got 8” mattresses and still there is enough support from the side boards for the kid to be safe.

It was a risk to order this with no existing reviews, but we were in need of low loft beds for our tweens to have more storage in their shared bedroom. These beds come with a bookshelf, 3-drawer dresser, and a small hook-on desk, and are made of solid wood, so we ordered two and hoped for the best. Assembly was easy - it took about 4 hours for the first set and only about 2.5 hours for the second. This set comes in four boxes, two of which (bed and dresser) should definitely be lifted/handled by two people due to weight. Putting together the bed takes two adults, but the desk, dresser, and bookshelf could be assembled by one person. All hardware is provided, but I recommend sorting the bolts and screws first to save time. Three hex wrenches are provided and you will need your own Philips head screwdriver and a mallet. All of the pre-drilled holes were in the right spots and there were no issues with pieces not lining up. The bookshelf and dresser use a plastic locking connector that I haven't seen before but I think works very effectively. The bed is sturdy, with an aluminum cross brace and solid wood slats. You can set up the ladder to be at either end of the bed; they refer to this as left-handed or right-handed in the instructions. The finish is not rough by any means, but also not shiny/smooth. It's definitely a farmhouse-style set. We got the Barnwood Brown color and it's darker than what's shown in the pictures online but the stain is consistent with no streaks. The kids are thrilled with their overhauled room and because these are made of solid wood I think they'll hold up well. The bed does cost more than similar low loft sets made with MDF but has 2X or more the weight limit, making them suitable for an adult or teen to sleep on. Highly recommended!

Bed is of nice quality and we like that the set comes with a dresser, bookcase, and desk. Our only complaints are that the pieces of wood used to climb up into bed are so small that our 8 year old complains that they hurt his feet and wishes we got a loft bed with a staircase. We went this route because it saved space. Be aware that it takes hours to put this set together. I did most of it by myself but the bed definitely requires two people. I broke it up over a few days. Probably spent 4-5 hours total.

Very sturdy wood bed. Its for my 11 year old son who is on the bigger side. 55 in the 6th grade and weighing around 160 lbs. He needed almost everything that came with it because his room is small and we also have a crib for his little brother as well. This created so much space for the both of them. Hopefully he can use it for a while.

Perfect for smaller spaces when you need multiple types of functionality!
