This is a beautiful bed, and fairly sturdy, but needed modification which thankfully my husband was able to do. The rail on the top bunk needed extra screws to not be wobbly. They are stacked with pegs and only the ladder is holding the 2 beds together, so if someone uses the ladder, the top bunk tilts off the pegs a bit. My boy is 75lbs and gentle and this was happening. He fastened them together with brackets. If you are unwilling or unable to make fixes to it, I would pass on it. But my boys love the bed and we haven’t had any issues with it after fixing the kinks.
