I gave this desk to my grandson but it was hard to put together I had to have two of my kids help me. and my grandson is ten years old it's to small for him if you ask me this desk is made for a five or six year old I told his dad to make a plat form for it to make it taller. p.s I have put a few dressers together in the past the desk was a lot harder. Super cute and sturdy little desk

I was very surprised when I open the box. This was very solid wood and I am very pleased with the quality. The directions were OK they could have marked the pieces so that you would know what should face the rear. Other than that this was fairly easy to put together - easier with two people.

A really sturdy and easy to put together desk. I put it together with my husband in about 15 minutes. The wood feels very solid too. We're going to use it for my son's virtual school and it's got 2 nice shelves to store supplies. I like that the shelves block his line of sight so maybe it'll help him focus a little better. I've tucked it in a corner of my office and I put up a photography backdrop to make it cozy. I'm using a 14" chair (seat to floor height) and it works perfectly. My son is 51" inches tall and it seems to be the perfect size desk for him. He'll probably outgrow it in a year or 2 but by then I'm hoping he can go back to regular school. I'd strongly recommend this desk.

I bought the his desk for my 2.5 year old. Sturdy, very easy to assemble on my own (took maybe 30 minutes). No sharp corners is a plus. The desk chair is 23.25” tall, seat height is 13.25”, fits perfectly. Right now we use the desk to store his favorite bedtime books and some toys, but over time I can see him using it for arts crafts, LEGO building, and homework once he goes to school.
