Updated Review - the manufacturer reached out regarding the defects and has made a commitment to make it right. The bed itself barring the obvious damage on arrival went together okay. It was a time consuming build, and the instructions werent as clear as they could have been. I had a ticketed carpenter friend assist in the build and it still took about 4 hours. Set aside the time. Overall I would now recommend this product based on the support offered by the company.
