This mattress is excellent for a side sleeper - perfect support and comfort. I would not want to go with a firmer mattress for an average weight side sleeper. This is the future; every bed will be motorized, or you will seriously be missing out. If you try it once - you will never go back without feeling you are missing most of the experience, you could be having. The motorized base takes it to another level. The motorized base unlocks the potential of the Helix mattress. Every time you adjust the bed - you get a new feeling of comfort. This mattress is 14 inches thick and yet you can still feel the massaging motors adding another level of enjoyment. The mattress on its own is excellent - with an iPhone operated motorized base - it is an amazing experience for reading, watching TV and sleeping.

We traded our stock bamboo RV mattress for the Helix - Queen. It's a comfortable mattress. I do not wake up in the middle of the night, throwing covers, because I am hot. I also no longer wake up in the middle of the night with hip and shoulder pain. These things all make the mattress a WIN for me!

It's so soft that I just fall in and within 10 to 15 minutes I'm sleeping and the wife loves it too. Also with the Ugg sheets and comforter it is so comfortable.

I was hoping for a softer more cushy feel, but it’s not much different than the Midnight Luxe.

I really wanted to like this mattress, however, it has not broken in to be the comfortable product I experienced in the store. I have a new frame with only 3” between slats, and have spent extra time crawling around on it to hasten the process, but I still wake up with stiff joints in the morning and wondering if I just bought into the hype.
