Bought these lights to replace the existing LEDs which gave general diffuse lighting. Great improvement. The narrow beam can be angled to aim at the fireplace mantle, wall art, etc giving the room a more interesting appearance. I talked to TorontoLED to get the 3000K lights which gives a warmer feel, especially as the focused beam of light reflects off things in the room to lend more color.
