The pictures are a little misleading not saying its a bad shelf its definitely a good one but im pretty sure they use Ai for their photos because it dosent look as good as the photos. The metal frame is about half as thick as it appears to be in the photo and I feel like that makes it not look as bold I guess. Still a solid shelf for a good deal. I will say this it took me about 2 hours to put together with power tools and I'm very experienced building thing's so if you aren't very mechanically inclined maybe bribe a handy friend that has some power tools because if you put this together with the hand tools in The kit you're gonna be there a while..
