This is a lovely desk in the office, perfect height too!

Looks great! Not cheap-looking. Hutch (has a matching Desk to buy separately) arrived crated, almost ready to go, except for drawer handles and glass shelving. A fork lift must have put a four inch hole thru the hutch backing-board :( but I repaired the hole with a matching strip of wood. It looks good now. Good tip!!!.... when the matching desk portion arrived three weeks later, I had the delivery guys totally unwrap and uncrate it right on the the driveway, next to their truck, so I could inspect it and decline the delivery if necessary. The desk was undamaged. Not much setting up to do since both desk and matching hutch arrive crated and almost ready to use. To move the desk into my office, I had to uncrate it first, and then take the office door off its hinges. It just made it through! Lifting the hutch up onto the desk and placing it correctly is a two-man job. (not a man and a woman!) The very top of the hutch has a tray with a push-button for the cabinet lighting. The tray slides out to illuminate the desk below it! Nice touch. The bulbs are three x 40 watt cabinet bulbs and annoyingly bright, so I replaced them with two x 25 and one x 7 watt bulbs. Hutch cabinet doors could have been fitted a little more accurately. There are 1/4 inch gaps but they will do. Desk/Hutch has 3 cm. gap as seen in the picture at the rear, for computer, lighting, printer etc cords to go thru. There are also 2 three inch diameter holes (with plastic collars) intentionally installed on the desk portion for cords to go thru and not be so intrusive. I will place some nic-nacks (model cars?) along the very top of the hutch as its total height is 2 feet away from my ceiling making an obvious empty space. If you see any small nicks or scratches, just buy some matching acryllic artists paint from a local store and rub it on with your finger. Scratches/nicks disappear!
