Extremely disappointed in the manufacturing quality of this table, especially given its close to $3,000 price point. While aesthetically pleasing, the structural integrity is fundamentally flawed.
The table is held together by undersized screws that are inadequate for its significant weight. During a minor adjustment (moving it just a few inches), a leg literally split in half because the load wasn't properly supported at a key weak point. Furthermore, the center beam is purely decorative and offers zero structural reinforcement.
This is a major safety concern; the table is prone to collapse under minimal lateral pressure, posing a risk to anyone nearby. To make the unit safe for use, we had to perform extensive manual reinforcements, including drilling new holes, doweling, and adding extra support boards. A premium piece of furniture should not require after-market construction just to be functional. I cannot recommend this product.
