I was trying to replace a red longevity symbol teacup which was conical with a red base. This used to be a very common cup and was available in many Chinese supply shops but I was told that the factory had closed. These are cylindrical and have a white base. This was well documented on the web site, so it was my fault for not noticing. I have decided to keep them as I could serve tea to six friends with them and they would match my existing pot. The old ones had a makers mark on the underside of the base, while these do not. This is one of the disadvantages of buying online as opposed to in person. They arrived after a few weeks within the time frame promised, so no problems there.
