This is an excellent grinder, especially for the price. The stainless steel construction is easy to clean and durable, definitely a step up from aluminum. The motor has plenty of power and does not bog down at all. Final meat cleanout is easily accomplished with ice cubes. The throat surrounding the auger will warm up in time and I recommend using an ice pack on it to avoid getting fat too warm, but this is only if doing large quantities. Overall, the construction is solid and the accessories are easy to use and attach. I found the meat tray to be very stable, I do wish it was a little bigger though. I have used lower powered grinders in the past, such as the style that attach to a mixer. Having a standalone unit with plenty of power is a game changer. I wish I would have purchased this years ago; it would have made things much easier. I have used this on venison and hope to start making sausage with it in the near future. Whether you are a hunter that processes your own game or someone that prefers to grind your own store bought meat to know what is in it, this grinder will serve you well.

This grinder is much more sturdy and larger than anticipated. The best feature is how quiet it is. I have owned two prior to this one and so I can appreciate that it is not as loud. It came quick and well packaged. I placed a water bottle next to it in the photos so you could have an idea on size.

This thing is powerful! It feels commercial grade and is very heavy duty. Is user friendly and easy to keep clean. The only downfall is that it’s large and heavy. Not the easiest to store. It grinds meat like it’s nothing though!

Well this thing is the bee’s knees for grinding meat. It’s heavy and seems to be well made. We have some more learning to do and other things to try, but we are happy with this purchase so far! If you are looking for a meat grinder, I suggest you keep this in mind!
