Though the label says it's a scarf, it works beautifully as a table runner.

This is a very pretty as a runner. I’m not sure I would use it as a scarf on my person however. It is wrinkly and I did not iron. Wrinkles somewhat hidden by the crinkled nature of the fabric. Lighter than a navy but not a bright blue. Unique runner one would not find easily in a store

This item is a bit confusing. Staging in the picture indicates it's a scarf, and the label says as much, but the description name calls it a table runner. It can be used for either use, but is perhaps not the best for each purpose. I love the batik method of dying, and the lovely colors. These are 100% cotton and appear to be artisan hand-made. The item can be used as a scarf, shawl, or table runner. It is a bit bulky without enough drape for a scarf or shawl and does not seem durable as a table runner. It must be washed in cold water.
